The Duchess of Sussex showed up unexpectedly at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday to support a fashion designer friend.

She was present at the Balenciaga presentation after making a solo trip across the Atlantic.

She has worn a number of designs by the brand's new creative director Piccioli and the visit reflected "her support for his new creative chapter," a spokesman for the royal stated.

This marked her initial visit at the fashion spectacle for more than a decade.

"Throughout the past, the royal figure has worn various outfits by the designer," the spokesman said.

"They have collaborated extensively on designing for key moments on the global platform."

"She has long admired his artistry and modern elegance, and this evening was no different."

"This evening reflects the culmination of many years of creative work and companionship, shown through her endorsement for his latest creative endeavor at the fashion house."

Meghan, who announced her arrival in the French capital with an Instagram story, wore a light-colored ensemble of flowing pants and a blazer from the line for the show on the weekend.

Meghan is last known to have traveled to the United Kingdom in late 2022 to attend a charity event and was in the country when Queen Elizabeth II died. The couple then stayed on for the memorial service.

Her husband met his father the King recently amid speculation about a mending of ties.

Harry has made several trips to the UK in the past few years for a variety of engagements including for charity events and to attend legal proceedings.

Recently, Prince Harry appeared to dial in for a High Court hearing in a lawsuit against the publishing group.
